PurePRP SP
PRP concentrating system for high-dose, adjustable-volume platelet preparations.
View systemProtein ultrafiltration system
Emcyte's CORE ultrafiltration system concentrates alpha-2-macroglobulin and other high-molecular-weight proteins from autologous plasma prepared on the PurePRP platform. An autologous, point-of-care protein concentrate produced at the chair.
CORE is Emcyte's protein ultrafiltration system. Starting from autologous plasma prepared with a PurePRP device, CORE filters the plasma to concentrate high-molecular-weight proteins, including alpha-2-macroglobulin (A2M), into a point-of-care protein concentrate. It is used together with the PurePRP concentrating workflow rather than as a standalone kit.
Plasma is drawn from an autologous PRP preparation and passed through the CORE ultrafiltration membrane, which retains larger proteins while allowing smaller molecules and fluid to pass. The result is a concentrated autologous protein fraction produced at the point of care, with no allogeneic or donor-sourced material.
Alpha-2-macroglobulin is a broad-spectrum protease inhibitor. Third-party laboratory work has described A2M binding and inhibiting cartilage-degrading proteases; this is cited as general mechanism and rationale from the literature, not as an outcome of this product. CORE and its output are not presented as evidence of any clinical result.
The CORE ultrafiltration system is labeled for investigational use. It is not FDA cleared or FDA approved. The alpha-2-macroglobulin mechanism referenced above is third-party literature, not a product-specific outcome.
Practices already running PurePRP that want to add an autologous, point-of-care protein concentration step to their workflow, and that understand the investigational-use labeling of the CORE component. Talk to a specialist about whether it fits your protocol.
Device characteristics as reported by Emcyte. Figures describe the device and its process, not the clinical performance of the prepared concentrate.

Manufacturer-reported device specifications. The CORE system is labeled for investigational use and is not FDA cleared or approved. A2M mechanism data is third-party literature, not a product-specific claim. Not a claim of clinical efficacy of the prepared concentrate.
Manufacturer videos from Emcyte on the CORE ultrafiltration system. Shown as manufacturer content, not a claim of clinical efficacy. The CORE system is investigational-use labeled.
