PurePRP

What it is

PurePRP is Emcyte's standard platelet-rich plasma concentrating system: a closed, single-use device that draws whole blood and concentrates it into a platelet fraction at the chair. It runs on the Sapphire centrifuge, uses a double-spin preparation, and comes in 30, 60, and 120 mL kits. It is the established, cost-effective PRP tier that many practices run day to day.

How it differs from PurePRP SP

PurePRP and PurePRP SP are the same family and share the same double-spin, closed-device workflow on the same centrifuge. The difference is the concentration tier. PurePRP SP (SupraPhysiologic) adds Emcyte's AspiraDome and Variable Chamber geometry to push toward the highest, supraphysiologic platelet concentrations. Standard PurePRP targets a standard therapeutic PRP concentration at a lower price point. Many practices stock both and choose per case by the concentration they want and the economics of the procedure.

How it works

Blood is drawn into the closed PurePRP device and processed with a double spin on the Sapphire centrifuge. The first spin separates the blood, the second concentrates the platelet fraction, and the physician selects the final volume. A preparation runs start to injectable at the point of care. Who it is for
