The honest answer is that it depends on the case you run most. Below is plain guidance on the three choices that matter, framed around clinical intent rather than a sales pitch. It is educational, not a treatment recommendation. Your protocol is a decision for you and your patient.
PRP preparations differ in how many white blood cells ride along with the platelets. The Emcyte systems let you select a neutrophil-rich or neutrophil-poor concentrate. General PRP-class literature, labeled as class literature and not as this device's outcome data, tends to associate leukocyte-poor preparations with intra-articular use and leukocyte-rich preparations with tendon and soft-tissue settings. Which you prefer is a clinical call. The point is that one system can give you both.
A single-spin preparation is faster and simpler and is a reasonable place to start. A double-spin protocol adds a step to reach a higher platelet concentration in the final volume. Entry systems favor single spin for speed; the supraphysiologic systems add the double-spin option when you want to push concentration. If you are new to point-of-care PRP, starting single spin and adding the double-spin option later is a common path.
Kit size follows the draw and the target site. A 30 mL kit suits smaller single-joint or facial work. A 60 mL kit is the common middle for most orthopedic and sports-medicine cases.
