What it is
The Sapphire Series (SC-7500) is a multi-purpose bench centrifuge built to run the full Emcyte line, PRP, bone marrow concentrate, and adipose, on one machine. Instead of dialing in speed and time by hand for each kit, the operator selects a preset on the touchscreen and the machine runs the validated program for that preparation. Custom programs are available for practices that want them.
At 31 lb it is portable enough to move between rooms or sites, so a single centrifuge can cover a multi-room practice rather than sitting fixed to one bench. The Executive Series Centrifuge II is the companion platform for practices that want a second or alternate unit.
How it works
- Load the prepared Emcyte kit into the rotor.
- Select the preset for PRP, BMC, or adipose on the touchscreen.
- Run the validated program, or a saved custom program.
- Repeat the same preset run after run for consistent preparations.
Presets are what keep the spin consistent across providers and shifts, so the variable in each case is the patient, not the technique.
Who it is for
Practices standardizing on one platform across procedure types, and practices switching from another system who want the changeover to be affordable. If you already own a centrifuge, ask about the trade-in program. If you want to prove out volume first, ask about a loaner.
